Glen Ingram (tnr sax) & Scott Sawyer (gtr) met circa 1979 in Greensboro, NC. Glen had just arrived via Boston to "get some space and slow down a little" (see bio). Scott was new to jazz and took some lessons with Glen. They've been frequent musical cohorts since 1990. NY native Bobby Cohen (perc) completes this adventurous trio.

This adventurous trio deconstructs jazz standards, American songbook and Brazilian classics...and performs original material as well.

"Canon" -- Music. A composition or passage in which a melody is imitated by one or more voices at fixed intervals of pitch and time.

"loose cannon" -- n. Slang.

One that is uncontrolled and therefore poses danger: “[His] bloopers in the White House seem to make him . . . a political loose cannon” (Tom Morgenthau).

[From the threat posed by loose cannon rolling about a warship under sail.]
